I'm a college student. I live in a suite-style set up -- two doubles are connected by a short hallway and share a bathroom. I and my roommate live in one, and S and J in the other.
S' sister "M" basically came up from LA and has been living with S in her dorm room. The sisters have screaming arguments every other night about how "M" won't enroll in school or go back to LA. J has to study in the hallway since they are always arguing. Recently, S and M had a pretty bad fight where some things were thrown/someone was crying and S appeared to give M some sort of ultimatum.
S has never directly come to me and told me anything about this situation -- me and my roommate have essentially pieced this story together from their arguments/seeing S' sister randomly for the past month or so.
It's spring break. My roommate is gone, so is J. I'm here for a few more days until I leave. To get into this dorm requires that one swipe in to both the suite door and the room door.
I went to go hang with some friends, and I came back to find that S has apparently left. One of S' friends sent me a bunch of frantic facebook messages asking me to let "S' friend M" into our suite since she left and locked herself out (she doesn't have a key). M apparently appears to be living in our suite and using a shoe to keep the suite door and her dorm door open so she can move in and out.
I'm uncomfortable with this situation on a number of levels. How would you handle this?
