So in the US, it's pretty odd to give your child an adjective name like "Precious" or "Heavenly". It happens, but normally when you meet someone named that, you think "wtf? What's wrong with their parents?" But in Spanish speaking countries, it seems fairly common to name your child Bonita or Dulce (pretty/sweet, respectively). Are there any other cultures that this is accepted in?
