So my roommate bought a ferret.

We aren't supposed to have animals, but our other roommate already has a cat (which I was completely against, but no one cared) and she insists the she will never let the ferret out of her room, and that she is very responsible with animals. While I have reason to believe her considering how dedicated she was to two sick kittens she took care of, there are other issues that need to be addressed, such as what she might do with it over over spring break, (she lives in New York, our school is in Florida), or how she'll get it to the vet if it gets sick (she doesn't have a car).

Should I pitch a fit and insist that she get rid of it or just accept that it's her problem and not mine? Would it be fair to make her get rid of the ferret and let the other roommate keep the cat?
