At my wit's end, pretty much.

For the last 3 months or so I've had chronic stress-related chest pain. When I get very anxious (I have an anxiety disorder) or stressed/angry the center of my chest gets sore. This in turn makes me worry and I'll obsess about it for awhile until I put it out of my head.

I don't have insurance so I can't go to the doctor, and my place of employment (for the last 8 months) has been really dicky about giving me my benefits. I'm wondering if it's worth it to go to the ER without insurance and just rack up a ton of bills just to have the peace of mind that I'm not on the verge of death.

As sad as it sounds, I'm depressed every day because I think it's my last. I can't enjoy anything because I feel like I'll drop dead within hours. It's ruining my life, for real, but I'm completely broke and I don't know where to go or what to do.

Has anyone went through anything like this? What did you do?

If not, what do you think I should do?
