Did it make you feel good knowing you made someone else feel better about themselves?
Were you sincere or just reactionary? (Ala, "my butt looks big!" "No, honey, your butt looks great! *avoids staring at the massive hindquarters*)
Do you take compliments well?
Any particular reason why or why not?
None, as of yet. But I've got church in a few hours, and I'm certain I'll get to many people today.
I generally feel pretty good when I make others happy.
I try my hardest to be sincere, but a lot of my friends fish for compliments.
I have a hard time taking compliments, myself.
I had a massive, massive ego in high school. When others weren't inflating it on behest of one thing or another, I was inflating it myself by aggrandizing my relatively simple accomplishments. Now, when people sincerely compliment me, I brush it off, most often.
