What are your thoughts on Constitution Day (Sept. 17), and Congress passing a law back in May 2005 saying that all federal-funded schools (i.e., public schools) are "required to hold an educational program pertaining to the United States Constitution on Sept. 17 of each year." (September 17th being the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution.) ?
Is this constitutional? Why or why not? Do you care? Did your school do anything for Constitution Day?
EDIT: I posted a couple questions on my journal to perhaps get the ball rolling.
