troll?

So what exactly is a troll? I was under the impression that a troll is someone who creates a journal exclusively to post in communities with and stir up drama (doesn't have entries or friends usually), but then I saw someone refer to

brn_eyd_grl as a troll, and I thought she had an active account for quite some time before she deleted it.
