It drive me nuts. I have a lot better things to be doing than trying to navigate some weirdly stocked grocery store where nothing is where you would think it is (and they're all weird), getting stuck behind little old ladies/people who won't share the aisle, hauling it all home, putting it away, and then spending an hour every night making a big mess to make dinner and clean it up, and getting up early enough to make lunch (which makes another mess)- all for something that takes me 10 minutes to eat.
But, my husband needs to lose weight, and I just found out I have high cholesterol (tho my weight is fine) and really the only way we're going to eat better is if we stop eating out and stop waiting to grocery shop until we've totally run out of food so we can't cook, etc.
I just find the whole cooking thing to be really annoying. Am I nuts?
(Oh, and I'm girl in her late twenties, married for 3 years, and my mother-in-law is like, June Cleaver, so I always feel like I ought to be going "OMG SQUEE KITCHEN DOMESICITY AND FOOD RELATED FAMILY VALUES!!" But I just really don't care. :D)
