ProFTPD

installed proftpd at home. everyone from everywhere connects fine.. except of course connecting from my office. but that's always a problem.

well, i figure, problems should be fixed =D

when doing LIST, ftp client focks up. well, it just gives me a timeout. so i tried doing PASV. for some weird reason, it tells me: 500 P@SW not understood.

i know there is a fix around it.. my friends hosting provider uses proftpd as well and we can connect to it just fine from the office. though we can't connect to my hosting provider for the same reason, who also uses proftpd.

any clues anyone?

P.S. the hosting provider that we can connect to doesn't require PASV
