I have an adorable orange tabby kitty that i want to find a loving sitter for from June 20th until Sept 15th. His name is Miles and he is soooo sweet and affectionate. I currently live on the upper East side but will be gone for the summer, and am looking for someone to take him for the next 10 weeks. I will pay for his food/litter etc. All supplies included. Great opportunity and a loving affectionate cat. Once you meet him you will fall in love. Also interacts well w/other cats/ kittens. Please call my cell,--number edited out--, or email, so that you can see him!
email for pic's, too!

1. Ok, what you REALLY meant to say was:
"I'll be gone on a trip and have a wonderful time while my poor kitty cat will be all alone and afraid. So would any kind soul pretty please catsit for him for FREE please!"
Being that you can afford to live in the UES, you should be able to:
A) afford to take him along on this wonderful trip, if you love him that much; or
B) afford to hire a professional catsitter, who can give him the proper care, if you love him that much.
In other words, you either:
A) are too cheap to pay for proper care for him; or
B) don't really love him nearly as much as you claim.
2. I AGREE WITH THE PERSON WHO SAID SHES CHEAP.... SHE COULD HAVE OFFERED A LITTLE MONEY NOT JUST FOOD FOR THE CAT SEEING THAT SHE CAN TRAVEL ALL OVER THE WORLD TO BE WITH SOME MAN SHE SHOULD BE ABLE TO OFFER SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION.

1. Why are there so many haters on craigslist?
So what if this woman wants a free catsitter for a couple of months?
Do you know how expensive a legit catsitter is? ~$20-40/day.
And who really enjoys asking friends to do favors for them?
If there's someone on craigslist who will take her cat on a temporary basis, more power to her.
Maybe there could be someone just considering getting a cat, but aren't sure if they're ready to make the commitment. This'd be a great way for them to see if they can live with a cat.
You should funnel all that negative energy into something good - like volunteering at animal shelters or something.
I wish I could flag all the haters on craigslist. There are so many of them, especially in the free and pets sections. Guess that's what happens when you live in NYC!
2. Hey, I had to have my cat fostered for several months, and believe me: I loved him dearly, and it was a very wrenching decision. The reason, you twit? I was engaged to a man who lived in England, didn't want to be separated from him for six months, and couldn't bring my Pablo along because the English won't allow pets from other countries into England until they have been quarantined for six months. Now, how do you know why this person wants to find a temporary home for her cat, you moron?? And do you really think cats like to be schlepped around on planes and stay in hotels (those that allow cats, that is)?? Or is it that you did too much acid, tonight, and had nothing better to do than attack total strangers with zero information?? Hmmmmm?????
