I'm sure this is one of those really insanely dumb questions but I was thinking about it.

When you go to the ob/gyn and they ask if you're sexually active...are you considered sexually active indefinitely after you start having sex? What if you haven't actually had sex in a while...does the doctor still consider you "sexually active"?

Edit* I'm not asking for responses to the doctor's question. I'm asking, basically, if once you have sex, will you be considered "sexually active" from that point on, or is there some time frame where you stop being "sexually active"
