1. Inspired by an earlier post, are there any majors that people list that make you automatically want to avoid them? Does it matter if you have platonic or romantic designs on them?

2. Do you think that children's actions always reflect upon their parents, or do you think that after a certain age there is no reflection (positive or negative) on the parents? Is there an age that you think this change happens?

1. For me, I only really care about their major if I have romantic designs. I won't touch a Psych major with a ten foot pole. With friends, I may be amused by certain majors but have never avoided someone because of it.

2. Before 18, I think that almost everything reflects on the parents because the kid has not gone into the world and formed their ideals. I know that this is not a finite rule, but I've seen it to hold true with myself, my friends and numerous acquaintances. My ideals, thoughts and processes vastly differ now at 23 from those that I held and followed at 18.
