I'm planning on making cupcakes for my friend's birthday today. Most of the recipes call for at least a 1/2 cup milk, but I don't have any on hand, and I'm not in the mood to go to the store. I found a recipe that doesn't call for milk, but this makes me somewhat suspicious. Does this recipe sound good to you?: Yellow Vanilla Cupcakes
It does suggest adding just a few tablespoons of milk (if needed). Could I substitute buttermilk?
