I work at a small answering service. We mostly answer for lawyers and bail bondsmen. We answer 24/7 and I work the 3pm-11pm shift. I've been here about a year and I have a problem that I'm not sure how to deal with, and I'm hoping someone might be able to advise me. 

There's 2 supervisors for my shift and when one of them checks out of work the other one fills in for them. Well, recently they've had some scheduling conflicts and a couple of times one of the day supervisors had to fill in for them when they BOTH checked out. This stirred a quest for an assistant supervisor for my shift. The reason I say quest is because they asked every single person in my shift (12 people not including me) if they wanted the position and every single person turned it down. Why? Because it pays a whopping 10 more cents an hour, the responsibilities and bull sh*t you have to deal with are NOT worth it and the 2 supervisors for that shift are notorious for calling in, coming in late and leaving early especially when they know someone is there to cover them. I was the last person they asked because I told them MONTHS ago when they were having a similar problem that I was NOT interested at all in being supervisor or anything else other than a regular operator for the simple reason that I do not want to be taken advantage of by the supervisors.

Basically, they cornered me into it by saying that they really needed the extra help and how much they would appreciate it and how they'd make sure I would only be supervisor for DIRE emergencies and that I wouldn't get taken advantage of. I reluctantly agreed to do it mostly because I felt guilty about letting down the supervisors (which are extremely nice people besides they're bad work habits), management and most of all the operators on my shift.

I'm getting to my question, I promise :)

I had 2 days of training last week. Yesterday Kay (my shift supervisor) decided she was feeling sick and asked if I could hold down the fort for an hour if she left at 10. I told her I wasn't comfortable being by myself as supervisor yet, but she insisted that I would do fine and left me alone. I was irriated, but everything went smoothly and I decided to brush it off. Then, today as soon as she came in she says "I'm still feeling sick, would you mind if I left at 10 again? You did fine last night". I was absolutely livid. Not only does she look perfectly fine, I know that today is her 20th wedding anniversary. I, of course, have no spine and agreed. 

I'm not a confrontational person, I can feel a panic attack coming on just thinking about talking to her about it. I know I should talk to management, but I'm not sure if I should just step down or if I should make them talk to her and the other supervisor. I don't want things to be weird between us if she gets in trouble. What do I do? Who do I talk to? What should I say?
