I was just now walking to my room to get something, and out of someone's window I heard this really awesome song. I'd never heard it before, but I just stood there for a while to listen to it. It sounded like it might be some sort of psychedelic music from the 60s or 70s, but I'm not certain.

Because of my auditory processing oddities, I usually can't make out song lyrics. So I was standing there trying to figure out what they were saying in this song (someone was signing along to it). The song was sung my a male with a pretty voice. Here's what it sounded like to me:

The cat's still alive
The cat's still alive
(Or was it "the cat on the right?" Or were they even talking about a cat? I don't know!)
Prime minister the cat's still alive
There was another part, but the lyrics were unintelligible.

The only lyric I made out for certain was "prime minister." So I ran to my room, typed in "prime minister" into a bunch of lyric search engines (because I want this song!) but couldn't find anything like it.

Does anyone know, by any chance, what this song is? Or know of any song vaguely like what I described? It was one of the coolest songs I've ever heard.

Edit: Thanks for looking, everyone. I found it with the help of a friend. It's by a band called Caedmon's Call.
