These people who overfeed their children, the ones that give two year olds 3 hamburgers and a dozen doughnuts, etc., to the point that the toddler is 100+ pounds, developing diabetes and high blood pressure, why can't the child be taken away from them? Why isn't this considered child abuse by the courts?

That's what it comes down to. They are poisoning their child, and it WILL kill them eventually. And yet they are allowed to do this? Why?
