I have not been admitted, but I've had lots of procedures (upper GIs, mostly) and I'm always impressed when someone does something especially nice, like saying something reassuring or bringing me a pre-warmed blanket. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. And the outside. I went to the University of Michigan to see a specialist who was a total dick and I didn't tolerate that scope very well at all.
