Do you feel bad about borrowing money? Do you avoid it as much as possible?
Do you or anyone you know refuse to lend out any money? Why?
I didn't get as many hours a couple of weeks ago, so I was a bit short for my car insurance, which was due too soon for me to wait for my next paycheck. I asked a friend (he has no job, but always has at least $300 spending cash from his mom) if I could borrow $20 and pay him when I got my check, which would be in about 3-4 days. He said no and I ended up scrounging for stuff to sell to make up the difference. He didn't even give my boyfriend some change to pay for lunch the other day, so my boyfriend asked people on line behind them for some change instead. I just thought it was odd that he was so protective of his money when he doesn't have to earn it, and his friends who do have jobs and work hard would be more than happy to lend money to someone who needed it.
