I've been sifting through a lot of discolored old print photos, looking for stuff. I'm continually amazed by my clothes. Not that they are bad, but a lot of them I just don't remember wearing, yet there I am in the picture, wearing shorts/a shirt/a jacket I don't recall even owning. Poll time!
Clothes you're wearing in old pictures:
I remember owning and wearing them all
I remember some but others are like WTF
I look at this like "who the hell dressed me, I would never own that thing"
I still own all the clothes I've ever had
I never owned clothes, it's all borrowed finery
When you open up the closet or drawer and see your pre-corona clothes
I'm mystified that I even own this stuff
I get nostalgic and actually dress up that day
I put on some pre-corona clothes and think "so uncomfortable" and put my PJs back on
I put on some pre-corona clothes and think "do I really want to do extra laundry to get the fomites off these?" and revert to my usual pandemic wear
I already got rid of everything that isn't sweats or pajamas
I only wear Halloween costumes now
Have you bought new clothes in the last six months?
Yes, more athleisure
Yes, a hazmat suit
Yes, same kind of stuff I usually buy
No, I don't even wear pants most of the time so everything stays pristine
Hats, I just buy a lot of hats now
I have a jacket obsession and I can't stop buying jackets
Many shoes because I have too much time to surf the Zappos site these days
Some ironic 2020-themed t-shirts
Underwear, because news reports make me soil myself on the regular
Aprons, because I'm a chef now
What's the oldest piece of clothing you own and still wear?
Were you just here for the wildebeest? Rest assured, this wildebeest is absolutely judging you all.
