The Question Club
I moved into a new apartment in June and prior to my arrival the landlord didn't replace or (as far as I can tell) shampoo the carpet, which was new only a year before - previous tenants were pretty tidy but there are little stains in the entryway. The idea of a year's dust accumulated is bugging me, and I'd like to get it cleaned somehow. Tell me about YOUR carpet and decide my fate.|
Does your home have carpet?
Giant rugs but they are removable for cleaning
I live in a hut with earthen floors
Do tatami mats count?
If you do have non-removable carpet at home, how do you clean it?
Sometimes I vacuum it
I hire a carpet cleaning pro
I rent a Rug Doctor or similar machine
I own a shampooer/steam cleaner
I bought one of those wacky Rainbow systems and I swear I don't regret it, no really
I just replace it frequently
Do you even care about a clean carpet?
Terrible allergies, so yeah
Dog owner, so most definitely
Dog owner, so don't bother
HOW should I solve my carpet dilemma?
Buy a machine I don't have room to store in this tiny apartment
Rent a machine even though that means not cleaning under any furniture
Just leave it, it's only dust. And spider legs. And nuclear fallout.
Sprinkle with Carpet Fresh and pretend it's clean
