The Question Club
Neither my wife or I come from religious families or have much religious connection with Easter, but... this year she mentions that when growing up her family started eating eggs on Good Friday and munched their way through the weekend. She says that this is because the whole weekend is the Easter holiday.|
I am a firm believer that you should only start eating eggs on Easter Sunday. I justified this with the argument that Jesus was reborn then, but honestly have never stepped in a church for Easter. Generally, the 'Easter bunny' left my eggs outside on Sunday morning.
If you get eggs, when do you start eating them? How quickly do you get through your eggs?
I used to get quite a few (one year I amassed 19 from various people) and ate them over several months. She also got many but they were gone by the weekend.
