(no subject)

Any astronomy fans here? I'm taking an introductory college class and I'm totally overwhelmed. I need a lab science and astronomy sounded the most interesting. I didn't realize that I really don't grasp the concepts, lol. I'm a visual person and I have yet to find a good visual on many things, from the orbits of the planets in our solar system to the phases of the moon (at the risk of sounding like a complete idiot, I still don't understand why we don't see the other side of the moon, because it rotates completely at some point, so why don't we ever see it? lol). I just can't picture it all. I've taken quizzes on quizlet and I have a study guide. I've been in for tutoring. I really think if I could just somehow relate how all the planets and our moon move in relation to each other I'd understand it a little better. Anyone have any good resources for this? I've even looked at youtube videos aimed at middle school students (I am well into my 30's) and I'm still not quite getting it. Thanks :)
