Ear infections

I have had persistent ear infections, and was wondering if I should ask my doctor if I should get ear tubes. A lot of times there's fluid in my ears. It's always a specific ear that's infected too. The other one sometimes is as well, but my right is always the worst. When I was in school, the nurse asked me if I had ear tubes because I was having ear problems then too, and she said there was something shiny in my ear, which I guess was fluid. A lot of times, I just get a stabbing pain in my right ear. Anyway, what should I do? And if I do get ear tubes, how long would I have to rest in bed?

Curious!

A short back history. I am kind of new here. I heard about Live Journal many years ago, I kind of checked it out but it didn't go far. Within the last year I have came back on here, created an account (approx September of 2016) and have been making posts as regularly as I can.

Now the questions. Do I have to know people for them to find my posts, read them, and comment? As long as I have my page public, any one can read them, right? How do your posts get noticed? I don't personally know anyone on here, that's why I am curious. Last question, what is popular to talk about that will get people reading and "adding me." Are polls popular? I have posted two polls as well as have asked questions in my journal entries.

Thanks for the add and the time!
