Did you ever make a hotel booking through Expedia and had to cancel? Did it go horribly wrong? Did you get your money back?
I booked a hotel through Expedia for a trip in May that I had to cancel. I used the link in the email to cancel it, but in hindsight I should have known that something was up when I didn't get a cancellation confirmation and Expedia sent me an email asking about my check-in. I was too busy with family stuff to notice or care. I emailed Expedia, but "after advocating on my behalf", they said I could not get a refund. Should I try going through my credit card or should I just suck up a $200 charge?
