They hae slain the Earl o' Moray, And Lady Mondegreen

The other day I was in the supermarket without my iPod and was subjected to the store's choice of music. One of the songs seemed to be some woman singing earnestly that "It's a cereal sign" over and over.

Okay, I know that's probably not what she was actually singing. Any guesses what it actually was?

No idea: Was she contemplating her breakfast choices (cereal sign) or was she a wannabe FBI profiler (serial sign)? Or does it mean something else entirely?
work stuff

Prompted by a discussion I had at work after I watched my coworker put a half empty can of Spaghetti-o's in the fridge for tomorrow...

If you open a tin of food and don't use it all - do you empty the tin into another container and put it in the refrigerator or do you put the tin itself into the fridge?

Similarly, if you cook food in a pot on the stove - if there are leftovers, do you put the pot in the fridge, or do you empty the pot into another container and put it in the fridge?
