Hi there. I have an old (by technology standards) Dell lap top. I got it in 2011 or 2012 while I was finishing up my last year of college.
It has started this fun new trick that when it's plugged in, it doesn't charge. It says, "please plug in a 130W adapter or higher". I literally only have the ad adapter that ever came with the lap top when I bought it. Does that mean my adapter is shot? The light on my adapter cord is on while it's plugged into the wall, so maybe the ad adapter is fine. Maybe it's my battery that's going out? Anyone know of anything that could help?
When it's plugged in it says it's not charging, I think the power is just VERY slowly leaving it. It at 20% now, but has been going down.
Ugh new batteries and AC power adapters are expensive. Sigh.
