Has anyone experienced a hormone problem, be it PCOS or hypo/hyperthyroidism?

I live a healthy lifestyle. I do a lot of weightlifting and I go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I take the weightlifting seriously and because of that, I have to monitor my diet very closely. I am very strict about what I eat; and I mean, no cheat days, NO alcohol, no happy hour, none of that. But for the last few months, I have been gaining weight in body fat, and I feel like my muscles have actually become weaker. I've been experiencing other symptoms, too, but this is the one that has caused me the most distress. I lost between 60 and 70 pounds and promised to never gain it back, and now I'm gaining it back and I feel like my weight is no longer in my control.

The last time I went to the doctor, it was completely unrelated to this; however, when he asked me the standard questions about my lifestyle (diet, exercise) I felt him giving me the "yeah, right" look.

On top of that, I am tired all the time, I have BAD acne that will take nearly 2 weeks to get rid of (PMS acne is pretty normal for me, but not this). I have had 4 colds in the last year, which is also completely abnormal for me. I also posted a while back about chest pain that I was having, which turned out to be acid reflux - something that is also quit unusual for me, because I eat a lot of acidic food like meat, curry, dairy, hot sauce etc without issue, and then bam, suddenly I had problems. I also noticed a few years ago that I started getting hairs on my chin; apparently a lot of people with PCOS have something like this

Do you think this could be a hormone issue, or an aging issue perhaps? what if you have experienced a hormone imbalance what did you experience?
