Has Livejournal basically decided to stop communicating entirely with its English speaking userbase? Or is there an official channel I am missing?
The last news post was in August 2015, the last changelog post was Jan 2013, the last LJ_dev post was October 2015, Howto was October 2013, learn_support was July 2013, LJ_Biz was Nov 2008, LJ_policy was March 2015, LJ_design was August 2009, LJ_style was May 2012, LJ_support was MArch 2013, lj_textmessage was March 2008, s2how was October 2009, LJ_nifty was March 2015, LJ_Feedback was April 2015, LJ_Maintenance was February 2014, LJ_release was November 2014, LJ_spotlight was December 2011, LJ_2008 was August 2008, Paid_members was April 2011, LJ_English was March 2013, LJ_userdoc was Nov 2012, LJ_translate was Nov 2012, Howto_userdoc was Jan 2012.
LJ_abuse was updated a week ago and LJ_sugestion was also this month(although the last idea that was actually implimented appears to be combining tags from 6 May 2013). Writers_block was March 2016.
I see the release numbers go up at the bottom of my screen, but honestly nothing really seems to have changed.
So my question is has livejournal got another conduit by which it can talk to listen to its userbase. Or has it just decided to shut down all official communication? And is there any further development planned on this site? I am guess that this is now essentially a Russian website and the English speaking part might get some development as a spin-off. But I wonder if there even is an office in SF anymore. I am not even sure if brenden
who set up ONTD even is still employed.
