Years ago, I customized the text for the link on my lj where someone clicks to leave a comment. Almost none of my friends are left here to comment anyway, but I want to change the text of that link. Anybody know where I go to do that?

Don't know/care: How long ago did you join LJ and how often do you currently post?

TQC, what would you do in this situation?

Last winter in January or February, I was coming home after work. My street has two entrances, and I used the one closer to my house. Two SUVs were parked on the side of the road, moms waiting to pick up their kids from the bus. Our road is a private one and pretty narrow, and I didn't think my car could squeeze past them, so I started to reverse, but one of the ladies waved me on. There's a stacked rock wall on the left of the road and it was all covered over with snow, so I drove up onto it and was just barely making it past them when my car slipped off the wall. My side mirror scratched along the side of the second SUVS for maybe six inches before I could stop it. I pulled over and checked out the scratch, which looked bad but was relatively small. The lady got out of her car and yelled at me for using the entrance because "I pick up my kids here all the time and you should know better!" Uhhh. Kay. Then she was like, "you would've been fine if you'd stayed on the packed snow!" Uhhh. Kay. We didn't exchange insurance info, I told her to get an estimate and that was the end of it. I didn't really hear from them and kinda forgot about it.

This morning, a full year and a couple months after the accident, her husband shows up at our door with an estimate. It's... well, a lot. About three weeks' worth of my salary. Conveniently, we had a friend staying with us who knows car repair. He took a look at the estimate and declared it to be fairly ridiculous and overpriced (it included 20 hours of labor, for instance). He advised going to another few local body shops and getting their estimates. But I'm not sure what else to do - I'm going to have trouble paying anything over a few hundred dollars' worth of repair and this couple has far more money than I do. Since it was technically my fault (Though I'd would argue that the lady bears some fault too), I probably can't ask my insurance to cover it, particularly since they weren't notified at the time. Help???

Our bunnies ruined our best duvet and our spare is ratty, so I'm thinking about replacing it.

One of the problems we have with our current double duvet (which we have on a 4 foot bed) is that we find ourselves pulling it off each other.

I torn between getting a King or Super King duvet, or getting a single duvet each.

The advantage of having one duvet is that there's no gap in the middle and its cheaper to buy bedding.

The advantages of two duvets is that I want a duck down duvet and my wife doesn't, pulling off risk removed and that we could have more childish bedding.

Your thoughts?
