urchin!

(no subject)

If you have kids, and you bring them to work, or a public place (such as a Starbucks or a library), and they need to go to the bathroom, do you go with them?

I only ask because I've noticed, with my current job and my precious one, that sometimes when a coworker brings their kid, they never let the kid go to the bathroom by themselves, and they were about 8-10 or so. My parents never did this. I could understand if this were one of those Big Important Office Buildings where everyone wears a suit and people always rush, but in this case it's less than 100 feet in an office that more closely resembles a house.

Aches

For the past two weeks, I've had some pretty bad head aches. I'm kind of used to having head aches (I am a middle school teacher), but these are worse than I've had in awhile. I went to my chiropractor and he said it's probably just stress and to put ice on my neck and try to chill out.

I went back to him a week later because my head and neck still weren't feeling right. The day after I went to him, these bumps or knots appeared on my head. One on the lower right side of my head and two behind my ears. They are all painful, especially to the touch. The one behind my right ear is the worst, causing me a consistent dull, throbbing pain.

Should I be more concerned? Should I do something more than just ice and rest?
