(no subject)
I know I should've started this at the beginning of the year, but better late than never.
Can you recommend a good chore chart? I have no kids - it'll be mainly for me. My husband works full time and I don't, so I do not expect him to do as much as me. I just finished a degree and am looking for employment. I figure there's no excuse for me to not keep the house in good shape.
I am very bad at this, however. Sometimes I will get into the habit of putting every dish in the dishwasher after it's used, but after a week or so, I start slacking. We are also really bad at clutter. Papers and mail everywhere. Random stuff piled up on the table and coffee table. Leaving our clean clothes in the hamper and just picking them out as we wear them.
Part of the problem is I am just lazy at times, but another issue is that I tell myself, "Well, no one ever comes over, so who cares?" However, when we power-clean the entire house before out of state family visits, we find ourselves really enjoying the way it looks and feels. I want to keep it that way.
So yeah, any advice on keeping the house tidied? Chore chart recommendations?
