The Question Club
Well, it turns out my local theater is, mostly, showing Crimson Peak in IMAX. I haven't been to an IMAX movie since it was all nature documentaries, so I have a few questions I'm hoping tqc can help me with.|
Is it always 3D? (The listing I'm looking at doesn't mention it.)
How far away from the screen do I want to sit for optimal viewing? (Old IMAX screens were HUGE. I assume they no longer are, because the building doesn't look tall enough.)
Is the IMAX experience really worth the extra cost? (In this case, that's less than a dollar.)
ETA: Bonus Question: 3D films: Amazing addition to films or gimmick to jack up ticket prices that needs to die, again, already?
