walking alone

(no subject)

I spend a lot of my time on laptop doing few work and too many useless, but fun, stuff. For example I work for two or three hours and then I spend about ten hours doing nonsense.  Sometimes I hate it when I see the whole picture of my current life. But when I live it day by day I feel comfortable with it.

My Q: How much time do you spend on laptop or mobile a day? What is the most things you do on them?

My best friend had just discovered that she's the side chick/secret girlfriend in her relationship. She met this guy when she was traveling in Canada maybe 6-7 months ago and they decided to give the long distance relationship a try. She's from the US and he's from England. He was very sweet and they talked a lot and she was even planning a trip to visit him in 2 weeks and stay with him/see his family. It turns out even before he went to Canada, he'd been engaged (to a girlfriend of a few years) and his fiance just the other day confronted my friend about it. The fiance knew the whole time what was going on. Now my friend is obviously hurt and feels like a jealousy tool. Uhh what would you say to your friend? Is there anything good to say? This all sounds like a Lifetime movie or something you read about happening to other people.

dk/dc: what's your favorite/love to hate Lifetime movie?

photogenic toes?

One of my friends posts a lot of pictures of her toes to her Flickr and Instagram. She is a really accomplished photographer and designer, but alongside all her beautiful pictures are millions of shots of her toes. I just don't get it. Why do people post pictures of their toes? Is there something really share-worthy about toes?
