Thank You Gift [Oct. 18th, 2014|04:27 pm]
The Question Club

Any ideas of a Thank You gift for someone who has been teaching me how to drive?

I have my drive test this coming Monday and she put in a lot of time and patience in teaching me. Price is not really an issue as long as it is not too expensive. But I would like it to be something extra special if I pass this Monday.

Gym goers of TQC...

How do I breakfast? Three days (maximum) a week, I will be going to the gym before work (7-7.45) to start work at 8.30. I can't eat before hand, since I'm not going to be eating at 6 to ensure my food has gone down, so I need to eat after. There's no facilities to cook or prepare food at the gym, and due to the nature of my job, I can't go in early to prepare food there, so I need something I can prepare super easily on the way, or just eat?

Any ideas? I figure yoghurt+fruit is a good one (I would on these days make sure I am eating a really good protein enriched lunch)

Dk/dc - favourite breakfast?
All health food aside, my favourite thing in the WORLD is a stack of pancakes, drowning in maple syrup, with bacon and a side of scrambled eggs. And maybe hash browns if I'm feeling disgraceful.
Otherwise I like poached eggs, spinach and peppermint tea.

EDITED TO ADD: I'm allergic to bananas, so nothing with those in.

Would you invite a friend or family member to stay in your house/apartment while you weren't there? Not to take care of anything, but simply to help them save money while visiting your area?

Would you put any restrictions on what they can use (e.g., if they can drink your alcohol, or do their laundry, or sleep in your bed)?

Would you ask or expect them to replace things they use, such as toilet paper or coffee?
