The Question Club

  1. Do you have any favorite books sit in the English countryside?

  2. What's the worst way you have injured yourself by accident?

  3. How are things going for you? Did you have a good week?

Does your local grocery store have self checkouts? Do you use them? Would it/does it annoy you when somebody is taking forever at the self-check?

This post brought to you by my recent trip to the grocery store where one person would scan an item, stare at the screen (I'm guessing to make sure the price came up correctly?), giggled as if technology was so amazing, and then rinsed/lathered/repeated with every single item in her cart.

Don't know/don't care: do you have a favorite seasonal candy? (I am stocking up on candy corn tomorrow. Rar!)

Tea time [Oct. 3rd, 2014|10:30 pm]
The Question Club

Hey TQC, can you recommend some easy, cheap, noshes that go well with tea?

DK,DC: Do things you read or watch, outside of cooking related programs and cookbooks, ever influence what you eat or drink?

Have you ever done anything bad that turned out to have good consequences?

My example: In my first year of uni, I deliberately set out to befriend a girl purely because she was already close with two blokes that I wanted to be friends with. The girl is now my best friend: she was my only bridesmaid, I was the first witness to her wedding (she didn't have bridesmaids), I'm godmother to her daughter, and she'll be godmother to any child I have. The two blokes are now just distant, friendly acquaintances. I set out to do a cold, manipulative thing, and ended up with the best friend of my life.

DK/DC: In general, do you enjoy eating/cooking offal?
