I found out this morning that my job wants me to interview for another position at my company tomorrow! Yay! It pays more than my current position, although it is PT.
Well, I just realized my usual interview suit is at my parent's house two hours away. Oops.
Is it an awful decision to just wear a grey button-down shirt, dress pants and black heels tomorrow? It's very hot here, if that matters. The shirt is professional looking.
My company is pretty casual, particularly in my department, but other departments tend to go towards business casual. The guy has seen me before and knows how I dress from day to day (and I try to dress professionally at work). Am I ok or should I be panicking about the missing suit jacket?
I have a Firefox add-on on my laptop called ReMarkable. I had it before, and it came up on my programs list so I removed it. At that time, it wasn't listed as an add-on, it was just there. All the annoying ads went away after that. I've been fine for months. Yesterday, it came back just like that. I didn't go on any dodgy websites, or download something I shouldn't have. It just came out of nowhere. So I tried to remove it from my programs again, but it wasn't listed as a program. So I checked my Firefox add-ons and it's in there, but I certainly didn't download it. Now, I've tried to get rid. Most websites say to just remove it as an add-on, but I can't. The option to remove it never comes up. I tried disabling it as well, but even when it's 'disabled' it evidently isn't because I'm bombarded with ads.
Is there an easy way to get rid of this? I've done a quick virus scan and a full virus scan, but it's saying my laptop is virus free. I've tried manually uninstalling, doesn't work. I've tried removing the add-on, but I can't. What else could I do?
Can you give me an example of "pathetic" behavior? I'm not really looking for a denotative answer. More of an example of or an instance of someone who did something you would describe using that word.
I put in an application for a cat today. He's a 2 year old polydactyl orange tabby and his current name is Harold. I wish I had a picture but he just came out of isolation so we couldn't take him out of the kennel and he's not on the website yet.
What should I name him? We already have a brown and white cat named Cheese. Tons of names that go with Cheese have come to mind and been suggested by others but I'm open to anything. I'd call him Mac because it goes with Cheese and It's Always Sunny is our favourite show but my close friend already has a Mac cat.
What should I pick up for him tomorrow when I go get a litterbox? Cheese is really really old so she doesn't have any toys or anything. We do have a cat house with a scratching post built in so hopefully he uses that. Cheese is unfortunately declawed so it hasn't been touched.
DK/DC show me your pets.
What are you embarrassed of?
What'd you eat today?
I had a turkey sandwich and potato salad for lunch.
For dinner I had a sweet potato burger and french fries.
I also had chocolate mousse.
