Rocky Horror Batman Show

I got this really delicious Mango Habanero Tequila jam at the Farmer's Market a few weeks ago and I'd like to glaze some chicken with it. What sides would be good with something like that?
I'm thinking something with rice, but I don't know what to put in it.

I work overnights at a hotel and I've gotten pervs calling before and they usually just ask me a bunch of questions and listen to me talk while they 'flog the friar'. They always call in the morning and when I hang up on them, they don't call back,  but last night I got a creep who called in the middle of the night and called back multiple times. And he just busted right out with the 'gonna let me cornhole ya?' and 'lemme in your backdoor'.
And he kept using my name, which I said when I answered the phone, of course, but the whole thing just really freaked me out, so I called the cops. They couldn't really do anything; the called id only showed 'wireless caller'.

Have you ever been really freaked out by something like that?

I feel silly for calling the cops knowing they probably couldn't do anything and that the guy probably wasn't going to come out here but I was legit freaked out for like the first time ever by one of these creeps.

What would you have done?

We just held a pool party for my almost ten year old son yesterday. He received gifts from his friends. Do I send a thank you note? Is a thank you email crass and lazy?

When I was a kid, eons ago, thank you notes were a rarity. In fact, we never got one. All of the thanking was done at the party, in person. (There's a Seinfeld bit in here.)

This is the first party we've held, so I'm trying to avoid a social faux pas.

In the past, when my sons have been invited to parties and brought gifts, sometimes we received a thank you and sometimes we did not. It was no big deal either way.

Help?

So today I bicycled from Amsterdam to almost Utrecht...(30km/20 miles each way I figure)and I am worn out/sore.

Should I carb load and eat spaghetti? or just plenty of Tylenol (called Panadol here)??

I have never tried to work though a problem with a partner before.

The question is how is it done? The person in question deeply hurt my feelings. I have a very deep trust with this person and feel a bit like they have broken it.
I recently have been feeling a bit down an feel more distant with everyone.
I also feel I lay a trap for this person and its not really fair that they fell in it.
He's apologised, a lot. I've apologised to.
but for the first time in 3 years we have a problem, I usually bolt at the first sign of trouble. But i'm curious what do people who are working though something actually do?

What's the most exciting animal sighting you have had? And where did you see it? Props if you post pictures.

I saw a moose on the side of the road today in Maine! I've seen them a few times before when I visited here but this moose was about ten feet from us and she let us watch her for a long time.

I had a bear in my backyard before in suburban New Jersey, although I sadly didn't see it. We live off of a pretty busy road so that was pretty weird.
