I have to cook for 3-5 people. What should I make?
One is on a low-carb diet. In the past, I have made starchy things as a side in this instance and usually had some kind of non-starchy vegetable-based side.
Vegetarian recipes are a plus, but not necessary. Desserts are nice too.
I have pretty good taste and I like to be adventurous as a cook but I'm far from being an expert. For the most part I am very happy as long stuff comes out edible and/or not burnt.
What should I make?
As you all know, my favourite book is Danielewski's 'House of Leaves'. I say it often enough. Recently, I decided that the song that reminded me of the book the most is Of Monsters and Men's 'Little Talks' (mainly of The Reston Interview). (That song's on the 'My Head Is An Animal' album).
Is there a song that reminds you of your favourite book, one that WASN'T actually written about the book, or with the book in mind, or for a visual adaptation of the book? Give me the book and the song (the title, the artist, and the album for an added bonus).
DK;DC: What song have you been listening to a lot, lately?
How do you handle friends who come over uninvited? I have no problems hanging out if people ask first and I am in the mood. But this one girl I work with and consider friend keeps either asking over and over when we are at work together if she can come over or coming over without any notice or warning. And then once she's over I can't seem to get rid of her, she'll just sit around forever and I feel like it'd be rude to say that I want her to leave but I don't know how to do it without seeming rude. Any advice?
How do I get a list of all of the entries I made in a community? I know someone posted an easy way to do it before, but I don't remember the URL that the person used.
Edit: Solved. Thank you!
Without relying on any sort of "official" statistics, where would you put the income range for a family of four to be upper class? Middle class? Lower class? Do you ever use the classification of upper middle class? Also, what country do you live in?
If you feel like answering, where would you place yourself? Where are you compared to your parents, if living on your own?
I'm binging on House M.D. (thank you, Netflix!). During the original run I got behind halfway through season 4 and never did get caught up properly through reruns. I'm halfway through season 6. Based on the series finale I don't think I'll care for seasons 7 & 8. Do I trudge through to the end? Bail once I finish 6? Episode recommendations if you split the child.
