Hello TQC. |
I recognize the irony in posting asking where I should eat following a previous post...but, um, where should I eat?
My boyfriend and I are going to be in Orlando, Florida for Thanksgiving. We're both from the UK (well I grew up in South Africa but that has no bearing on this) and I would like to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. A few people have suggested Gaylord Palms, but looking at their menu, it seems to not be 'traditional' Thanksgiving food. Over here, weeks before Christmas, every pub, restaurant and even leisure centre seems to do Christmas dinner. Is it like that in Orlando? Or are more restaurants and chains closed? Do I need to get something booked now or can I wait until we are there - we arrive on 21srt November. I was hoping to stay away from parks for the few days around thanksgiving but we do have 21 days Disney, 14 days sea world, Busch Gardens, Universal and Islands of Adventure tickets. So I won't rule out eating at a park.
