How long after milk's "best by" date is it safe to drink it?

Google says anywhere from that date to seven days after that date, but to smell/taste it to be sure... I hate milk and I have no idea what it should and shouldn't taste/smell/look like?

I Heart Consent

Around my city, from time to time, I see people driving around with a bumper sticker that says "I (insert heart symbol here) Consent". I want one very badly. I've searched the internet and have found nothing. Do any of you know where I can find such a bumper sticker?

Do you shop at a farmers' market? What are your favorite things to get?

I get all my honey at the farmers' market. I also love getting flavored pistachios. Lately I've been buying a lot of berries and corn on the cob too.

Help me think of something clever

My friend has some plastic moustaches and would like to turn them into necklaces and sell them at a farmer's market, along with the rest of her jewelry. At this particular market, it's adjacent to two colleges, so there's probably a fair share of hipsters that might frequent the marketplace, who may resonate with the moustache necklace. I think a catchy/humorous/clever title for the necklace would probably make them sell a lot better. Some play on words involving moustaches, or maybe hipster or macho men. Something that would make people smirk and reach for their wallet. The necklaces would be cheap, like $5, 2-for-$8, so price shouldn't be a deterrent. I don't really have many good ideas for this today. Here's some dumb ones I came up with.

Budget spy kit (change your identity in seconds!)
Instant gentleman kit
'Stache flash (the plastic is kind of shiny)
Mo bling

So, my creative, clever, inquisitive think tank, what moustache ideas can you think of?

*sigh*

You planned to go to a five day music and camping festival with your friend who bailed on you with a really poor excuse (your tickets were purchased already). You knew a few other people going and while you're not close to them you decide to go with them. One by one each of them except one has decided to cancel and sell their tickets. The last person is wavering between going and selling his ticket because his close friends bailed but that would leave you completely alone (from awkwardly setting up a tent alone to going to see the music).

What do you do?

I'm torn. I don't make friends easily and I don't like approaching people (I will know a few people in passing but they won't have a camping pass so I'll only see them briefly in the music area and only by chance, there are no plans to meet up with them there) and I will most likely be alone for the five days. I've wanted to go for the last 4 years and am finally able to. There's great music, also a large party atmosphere at night where people are open to talking/partying with strangers. I can go alone and hope to meet people though it's not something I like doing or I can sell my ticket and miss out but not feel like an isolated loser for 5 days....decisions decisions.

What's the last thing you did that was uncomfortable for you but turned out to be a great or positive experience?

What's something you did that you thought would be great but turned out to be a horrible experience?

How much should I suffer for a peaceful holiday?

You find out your partner of two years has been emotionally cheating on you (eta: or at the very least, conducting in behaviour which you think it should be obvious is not acceptable). The two of you are leaving for a "romantic" holiday the next day.

Do you confront your partner about the situation now, or wait until after the holiday in the hopes of lessening the animosity between the two of you whilst on holiday?

The holiday is for my best friend's wedding, so there will be lots of my friends there I can hang out with instead of him, at least.

ETA: I confronted him. I might have overreacted slightly with the whole ~emotional cheating~ thing initially. Basically we're just having a really massive fight now and he's still coming.

BedBugs!

Has anyone dealt with bedbugs? will you share your story with me?

For MONTHS I have been getting bit by a mysterious insect. I've been chalking it off as fleas since I work with dogs but recently it's been getting worse & worse. Last night, I went to bed and my boyfriend came to join me at 3am. He accidentally woke me up & I got up to get a glass of water and I saw a tick (or so I thought) on the wall. The minute I saw another "tick" I knew we had a problem. When we started searching for bed bugs we found a few underneath our mattress box and then...we pulled a poster of the wall.

You guys I think I am seriously experiencing emotional distress. It was the grossest thing I had ever seen. A huge black mound (as big as my head) with bed bugs scurrying around. I was appalled that we hadn't noticed this before (our apartment is very clean but you don't often think to check behind wall hangings) and we found more of these "mounds" (aka shit) behind other posters, ect.

I got no sleep last night and went to our apartment office, as we rent, and brought a few bugs with them. The exterminator was called and he told me my apartment on a scale of 1-10 was an 8!!! HOW DID WE NOT NOTICE THIS?!?! I am so disgusting, horrified and feel traumatized. I have court in the morning and yet I'm here worrying about our bed bug problem instead!

Reading about it on the internet freaks me out even more. People say it's literally hell to go through and they are extremely hard to get rid of.

Has anyone gone through this?
I seriously don't think I will ever NOT be checking for bed bugs for the rest of my life.

I walked to my local pizza place today and found it closed down because the building got sold underneath them. I nearly bursted into tears.

Baristas of TQC:

I have coffee & espresso (and their respective machines), a milk steamer/frothing wand, milk, sugar/simple syrup, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, hazelnut flavor, ice and a Magic Bullet.

Do you have any suggestions for a really good blended coffee drink that I can make for my friend & I tonight? I've never made a blended coffee drink before; we usually have a mocha latte around now but it's WAY TOO HOT tonight, so I want to surprise her!

lame question

Let's say your parents never gave you the love or attention that you needed as a child and it kind of put you in an arrested development mode. as you get older, you still find yourself seeking approval, acceptance, and attention from you parents.

you're already in therapy.

aside from that, what can you really do?
