Yeah..I made it..delete it if you want.

Is this odd?

Hello TQC,

I get personal training at a major fitness chain. So I was working out with my trainer (who is absolutely beautiful) the other day and after we were done she asked for my number. Is this normal for trainers that aren't freelance ones to do that?

If not, then what should I do and what does it mean?

I've found myself in a situation where I am completely drained. Like, 'can't brain, have the dumb.' Any time I get a break from stress, I find that I can't concentrate on anything because I have so many thoughts/emotions all jumbled up in my head, it's impossible to think clearly.

What do you do to 'reset' yourself when you feel like this?

DK/DC: Can you tell me one thing you would refuse to buy used? Things like underwear are a given.

What is your opinion of people who take seductive photos of themselves for the purpose of making online friends?
(I guess this was more common when MySpace was hot.)

I think it's cheap and stupid. I wouldn't be friends IRL with somebody who did this.

I just got a new washing machine, and the guy who delivered it ran an empty cycle to make sure it was working properly. I noticed the machine was shaking, which is something my old one never did, but he told me it's normal. After he left, the shaking got even worse, and I'm not sure what to think. It seems to me like something that shouldn't happen (especially since the machine was empty, so it's not like there was an uneven load that would possibly explain the shaking), but the guy assured me that the shaking was totally normal.

So TQC, is this normal, or do I need to have someone come look at it? I'm going through a rough time emotionally right now, and as stupid and small of a problem as this may seem, it's something I really would rather not have to deal with :(

ETA: I called Home Depot and they told me to call the manufacturer. I called they manufacturer, and they told me to call Home Depot. I called Home Depot AGAIN, was put on hold to "transfer to another department" only really just waited five minutes to talk to the same person who apparently couldn't help me, and was told that someone will call me back in ten minutes.

Pretty sure this is going to be the stupid little thing that ends up breaking me.

Introspective questions

1. What would you consider to be your greatest strength?

2. What would you consider to be your largest weakness?

3. What is your most prized possession?

4. What location/place makes you happiest, ie, your happy place? You could have a rough day, but visiting this spot always brightens your mood

5. Finish this sentence: "If _______ were removed from earth, the world would be a far greater place, and the quality of humanity would improve". What word did you select?

Roommate shenanigans

Thankfully hypothetical.

Couple AB and Single C are looking to rent a 2 bed/1.5 1.75 bath (one with tub/shower, one shower only) apartment. They've fallen in love with one and are about to sign the lease when a disagreement comes up. AB want the master with the full bath. That's fine with C as long as they can use the bathtub every so often with advance notice to AB. AB also want to split the rent and utilities 50/50 with C. C thinks everything should be split by person (meaning AB will pay 2/3 rent and utilities) since they have the larger master bedroom, and AB will use more utilities than C. AB claims the 50/50 split grants C tub access.

1. Is either party completely right?
2. If your answer to #1 is no, how should things be split?
3. Should AB and C sign the lease after settling the matter or take this disagreement as a red flag and go their separate housing ways?

Edited for my gross misunderstanding of what a half bath is.

Does anyone know of a good site, or a good suggestion, on how to make things out of winter hats? I just moved from TN back to my hometown in Mississippi, and there will never be any real need for them anymore. I've tried Google, but it only gives patterns for making them. Nothing about refurbishing or anything like that. Thanks! :)

Donating them, instead. Thanks!

Moving out.

What tips (or warnings) can you give me for moving out of home for the first time?

I will be moving into an apartment by myself, in another country in about a month and a half. I've googled a lot about it, but I'd like to hear more personal advice too.

Does anyone know what this is? Or even any guesses as to what it might be for?

It's called a Winkeldorn in German, but I can't find an English term for it anywhere. The online dictionary says "offset pin", but that doesn't seem to be the same thing.

DK/DC - Any courgette (zucchini) or strawberry recipes you'd recommend? I'm preparing for this year's glut.

TQC, I found a kitten today. I took him to my vet's office to check for a microchip. He doesn't have one, but they did weigh him and tell me he's about three months old. He hasn't been fixed. I'm posting a ton of fliers around my apartment complex (where I found him), have called the local shelters, and posted on Pet FBI and Facebook. I also let the leasing office know in case anyone calls about a lost kitten. Is there anything else I can do to reunite him with his people?

Irrationality

What makes you the most irrationally angry?
I get so angry and swear my head off when the clothes that I am taking from the washer to put in the dryer are all tangled up and won't untangle easily.

What is your most irrational fear?
I think that someone will hack the camera of my laptop and watch me through it.

What is the most unusual thing that makes you laugh?
I crack up whenever people talk about their horrid food experiences, like finding nails in their food, & etc.
