Will you post pictures (1) of yourself, and (2) of a celebrity who you wish you looked like? Or, if you are just too damn comfortable in your own skin, pretend that some face eating alien devoured your features and nobody can reconstruct it, so you have to pick a famous person's appearance.

Read a Book

What book(s) are you currently reading? What page are you on? How do you like it? Who would you recommend it to (if anyone)?

What author have you read the most books by? Do you consider this person your favorite author? If not, then who?

Do you set a reading goal for yourself every year?

Are you on goodreads? Do you want to share your goodreads profile link in the comments to make more friends?

the other day 2 of my friends, my bf and i were hanging out and one of my friends mentioned that she could crack people's backs. my bf has always had back problems so he asked her if she could do his. she told him he had to lie down on his belly so he did, and she straddled his back to crack it. do you think this is inappropriate? i was ok with it until the other friend gave me a 'wtf?' look :/

tqc, my friend wants to hang out with me but she keeps saying no to all my ideas :( so far i've suggested:
☆ shopping (which is too boring)
☆ cinema (nothing she wants to see)
☆ go out to eat (she's not hungry)
☆ go to the gym/swimming (she doesn't feel like it)
☆ walk around the city (it's too cold)
☆ watch tv/movies at my house (also too boring)

do you have any ideas for other things we could do?

okay nvm problem solved :)

dk/dc: what is the last movie you saw in theaters? did you like it?

So I just moved into my first apartment, woo! However, I don't know how to cook.

Do you know any good blogs that have easy recipes, or do you have any recipes on hand that you would like to pass on?

I've googled around a little but I'm kinda at a loss...I'm not even sure where to start. I want to be able to have leftovers and take it to work but I'm only cooking for myself so that will probably work with any recipe. I'm thinking any kind of meat, veggies, lasagnas, casseroles, etc. Soup is fine but I've eaten a lot of canned soup recently so blegh, getting tired of that. Idk guys, help!

ETA: Will you tell me your meal plan for the week (if you have one, obv) so I can steal ideas?

I have a cold. My nose is runny and this is not okay! Seeing as I'd like to enjoy myself tonight without blotting at my nose every 5 seconds...

What is your tried and true methods/medicines/whatever for stopping a runny nose? I took a Claritin to see if that'd help (it hasn't much so far) and I have some Afrin, but I still experience the sudden faucet nose with that stuff.

You're volunteering in your child's elementary school classroom and you see a student picking on your child. The teacher is busy with another group of students. What do you do?

Does your answer change depending on the age of the students?

Losing an Hour Tonight, Stupid Question....

First, don't forget to set your clocks forward tonight!

I have to be up at 2:30 am this morning (don't ask) and I've been told/heard the clocks change at 2 am.

Does this mean my alarm clock won't even go off if I set it for 2:30 am (assuming I set my cell that changes automatically)?
Should I just set it for 3 am or like 1:50something?

I've posted about having a kidney infection this week. I'm on my second day off work and am still in agony, and struggling to move.
Should I go in tomorrow to show willing and probably get sent home, or just call in sick again?
It's a job i'll be leaving soon and don't need a reference from.

How much makeup is too much makeup?

How much make-up do you wear on a day-to-day basis? What if you're going out (to the bar, for dinner, fancy dress party, whatever)? How long does it take you to put it on? How much makeup do you have? Do you feel comfortable going completely without makeup?

Do you ever use any of those contouring techniques? Watch makeup tutorials on youtube?

Tell me all your thoughts on makeup!

Personally all I wear is black eyeliner and I pencil in my eyebrows a bit because they have sparse patches. Other than that I have my Burt's Bees Pomegranate chap stick, which is tinted, so it kind of counts. I'd say it takes me about 5 minutes or so to get it all on. If I try to do anything more than that, I feel like it's too much work and makes me look weird. Mascara seems to make my eyelashes fall out a lot.

I feel more confident when I have my eyeliner on and I rarely leave the house without it on unless I'm going for a workout. I feel like my eyes blend into my face too much without it because my eyelashes are quite light coloured. I would love to have thick, long, dark lashes.

I have watched a few of those makeup contouring videos on youtube and they seem WAY too involved for day-to-day life.

If you were planning on getting a rather large tattoo, how much would you have saved up before you go in and start seriously working out the details with the tattoo artist?

I am working on saving up for a quarter or a half sleeve with a lot of color and don't know how soon I should go in to start this whole shebang. I've been in and met the shop owner and I've seen their work both in process and after healing.
