Do you like bowling? When was the last time you went? Do you know your highest or lowest scores?

I'm going bowling with a friend tomorrow afternoon and I'm excited. It's been forever since I bowled though so I'm probably going to get a score of 50 or something.

Can you please provide some ideas for a main dish to bring to a potluck that is somewhat simple and feeds 15 people? I will most likely have to prepare it the night before, bring it at 8am, and serve it around 12:30.

Confidence at work...

I've been in a funk at work lately. I used to have a ton of self confidence, was ready and willing to take on anything my boss threw in my direction. Unfortunately, I've been dealing with some pretty terrible health problems that have caused me to miss some work and the "go getter" and "I can do anything I set my mind to" parts of me I had...have disappeared. And I kinda am tired of waiting for them to spontaneously return.

Sooo, what can I do to try to reclaim my former attitude? I've talked to my boss about all if this and he has been beyond great...but this issue is all my own...and I can't fix it.

What have you done to help reclaim your confidence as it is applied to your work?

Dk/dc/sounds like a personal problem to me: what movie never fails to make you laugh?

A very close friend of mine father passed away suddenly last night but I am out of town and won't be back until tomorrow night. I've been talking with her boyfriend through text and  he has been letting her read the texts so she knows how heartbroken I am for her. I asked if I should call her and never got a response but he said that she would like to see me once I am in town. I plan to go straight to her house. My question is, should I take anything to her? I've never lost someone that close to me, so I'm not quite sure what to do other than be a shoulder for her to cry on. I love her so much and I want to do all that I can to help ease her pain. Any ideas would be appreciated.

When starting new relayshes, are you a fan of "defining the relationship" and having a discussion about them now being your significant other, or do you just fall into it and start calling each other your significant other without a prior discussion of it being so?

Do you have a discussion about what is and is not considered cheating?

How long do you date/see someone before you start to consider them your significant other?

At what point in a new relaysh do you stop seeing other people? Before you become official or when you become official? (or if you are in open relationships, answer however you see fit).

My brother is currently swearing at our bathroom mirror because no matter what he tries, it's leaving drips and streaks.

Tips to get rid of these?

How long is too long ago to post a response to a question on the question club? As in-if you see a question on the second, third (etc) page, would you feel weird posting a response?

Usually I won't answer a question if it's on the second page and I'm not sure why I feel weird about answering later. This is a place to answer questions and as long as people have posted questions they can't be mad you answered them even if it's a week later I suppose.

Still feels weird. XD

regarding one night stands and guys wanting casual sex:

what do I tell someone if they come onto me in a club, think they're getting lucky and want to take me back to their place/come back to mine? I have no intention of having sex with any of them, protected or otherwise.  But I'm not sure how to tell them.  The other week, I met a straight guy whilst dancing in a gay club.  At the end of the night I was going to go home, and he insisted on coming back with me.  Not once did I suggest to him that he would be getting anything out of coming back with me, or that I was "experienced".  I tried to hint that I was going home *alone*, but he didn't seem to get it and came back anyway.  I liked the guy, sure.  We kissed and cuddled and stripped to our underwear back at my room, and he told me that he wouldn't make me do anything I didn't want to do.  And he didn't.  But obviously there were some hard feelings on his behalf the morning after, because he made up this whole bullshit thing about how I should let him know if I wanted to go to gigs, and even called me to give me his number.  When I texted him, he didn't reply.  As I expected.

This one night stand/hopeful, horny guy thing isn't unbeknownst to me.  It's happened on four different occasions with 4 different guys.  They all for some reason thought they'd got lucky, or that just for being there I owed them sex, or something.  And the more I tried to tell them that wasn't the case, the more persistent they were, thinking somehow they could change my mind, following me back to friends' houses like whining, pitiful dogs begging for scraps of food, even when there was none promised.  I won't deny that on some of these occasions I could be accused of having "led them on" simply by dancing with them or kissing them, but I don't know what else you can do when you're just trying to have fun and dance and a massive man decided he wants to dance with you, then go someone quiet for some "fun".

should I just outright tell said men that I can't promise them anything sex-wise?
what else can I do to stop this kind of thing from happening again?

- Look at the 8 friends who appear on your Facebook profile right now. Are they people you interact with on Facebook somewhat frequently? I'm just wondering if these 8 people are set up via Facebook somehow based on how frequently you like/comment on each other's statuses, photos, etc.

- Someone recently posted a question that asked whether you could seriously date someone who was religious and went to church every week. Can someone please direct me to that post?

1.) This guy and I are interested in each other. We go to the same college and I see him every day, but the only time we every loosen up around each other is when we are drunk/stoned. I want to hook up with him, but I don't want it to be a drunken mistake. How can we stop being so shy whilst sober?

2.) What are you going to be for Halloween? What should I be?

I can wear a Halloween costume to work, where I am a high school English teacher. Should I recycle my Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas costume or go as Ophelia since we're reading Hamlet right now?

What are you going to be for Halloween?

What's your favorite scary movie?

Do you want to share pictures of animals in costumes? Because I want you to.

TQC, I want to get an IUD. But I hear it can be difficult to find a doctor who will put one in someone my age (almost 23 with no children). I really feel like this is the best choice for me, though.

So how do I go about finding a doctor who will put one in? Just calling all of them or what?

Person A stands outside of a McDonalds or similar fast food place and asks you to buy them a burger because they have no money for food. Person B stands outside of a fast food place and asks you to buy them a salad for the same reason. Assuming you could spare the money, what would you do?

I would be more inclined to buy a burger for A
I would be more inclined to buy a salad for B
I would be equally likely to buy food for either/both of them
I refuse to buy food for strangers in any circumstances
