The Question Club
TQC, what do you do when you basically have a bounty put on your head to fuck up at work? I'm really a pretty awesome employee, and do a damn good job with getting everything done I'm supposed to, but if I miss one tiny little thing, I get tattled on. Instead of my supervisor coming to me and being like "look, you didn't do this. don't let it happen again." she's sugary sweet to my face, but bitches to the chief of staff who in turn gets bitchy with me because my supervisor is psychotic and one thing not done right ruins her day, and she in turn ruins everyone else's with her shitty mood.|
I'm not a tattle tale, if something is fucked up I don't run to the COS and bitch about it immediately, I go with the flow and fix it and move on, but am tired of covering for the mistakes other people make when they're so willing to sell my ass out. As such, I need to know:
1. How do I go about pointing out the errors the supervisor makes, when if the COS finds out that I missed what she fucked up, she gets pissed with me too?
2. How do I deal with a psychotic supervisor who can't handle criticism or suggestions? Seriously, she's the most defensive person I've ever met, and anytime you suggest doing something, you're "attacking" her.
3. How can I suggest and encourage my coworker to implement my improvement ideas (which were approved and encouraged but then ignored), without being a condescending little bitch?
Teal deer: how do you not go crazy when you have an insanely overdefensive two faced supervisor who ruins everyone's mood? when said IODTFS ruins the office's mood, how do you let the bosslady know that it wasn't your fucking fault, so you can get the heat off of you, without being a huge tattle tale?
