The Question Club
|And keep in mind that I'm 6'5", so fit might be an issue. ;-)
TQC, within the next 3 months or so, I am going to be buying a new(er) car. Mine is on its last legs after 12 years and 200,000 miles. I put together a spreadsheet of cars that I am interested in, based on MPG, MSRP, and features. They are:
KIA SPECTRA EX
KIA FORTE EX
HONDA CIVIC LX
KIA OPTIMA LX
VOLKSWAGEN JETTA S
MAZDA 3 4-DOOR iTOURING
HYUNDAI SONATA GLS
FORD FUSION S
MAZDA 6 iSV
HONDA ACCORD LX
VOLKSWAGEN JETTA TDI
Do any of you have any firsthand, persaonl experience with any of these vehicles? Reliability? Comfort? Etc?
(I haven't gotten to the test drive stage yet.)
If you don't know/don't care/have no input, what do you wear to work? Do you like it?
The company bought us all polos and dress shirts a few months back. They look real nice, but at the time I was an XL. Now that I'm an L, they all hang off of my like saddle blankets and look sloppy. After reading the US News website that I had never used before (thanks for the heads up, Uberash) the KIAs and Hyundai are out. (The Spectra, in particular, had a 5 for a reliability rating). The VW is gone for cost purposes, and the Mazdas are last resort, as they were the only ones of the remaining cars to be less than 9 overall.
So, now I'm down the the Civic, the Camry, the Accord, and the Fusion...all of which are dead even with ratings of 9.
