The Question Club
PLEASE tell me I am not going insane.
Before I left for a friend's house last night, I went through my CD collection and pulled out 2-3 CDs I wanted to listen to on the ride up there.
One of them was a burned copy of Soul Coughing - Live at Irving Plaza that an ex-boyfriend made for me years ago. I hadn't listened to it in AGES, so I figured it'd be a good pick.
When I got out onto the highway to head up there, I popped the Soul Coughing CD in. And then was VERY confused because out of my speakers came the Blue Man Group.
I know without a shadow of a doubt that there is NO WAY IN HELL that it was BMG the whole time. I checked to make sure that I hadn't accidentally inserted two CDs (that maybe BMG and SC had gotten stuck together somehow). Nope. One CD.
I then double-checked to make sure that there wasn't already another CD in my car stereo, but there wasn't. Plus I've tried to insert a disk before when there was one already in there. And if there's one already in there, the other CD won't even go in.
So how in the FUCK could this have happened?
For the record: my computer doesn't have a burner. And the CD-ROM drive hasn't worked with regular audio CDs in quite some time (at least a few months, if not longer).
So what the FUCK could've happened? How in the hell did my Soul Coughing CD suddenly turn into that BMG CD? And for confusion's sake, the BMG CD is a regular CD, not a burned one.
