The Question Club
Twice now, I've thought of a movie or a book that I wanted to ask the question club about, and forgot what the plot was before I got to my computer. ("It had a boy... and a girl... and someone tells someone something...")|
and i just now had a question, but have forgotten it as well...
twothree. One, are there good methods to improve one's memory?
Two: I applied for a few positions at a local restaurant. I talked with one lady who basically wanted information about my summer/fall plans, any intramurals I was in, any experience I hadn't mentioned on my application, what positions I was interested in... and said she'd pass my app on to the individual hiring managers, who would get back to me by email, Wednesday at the latest. It is now Thursday, would it be okay to email her and ask... something? whether I'm still being considered or if i've been summarily rejected? Is there a polite way of asking? (I need to know, because If I don't get it I need to apply to McDonalds or whatever, some sort of guaranteed place, so that I can stay here this summer)
Three, inspired by a question asked in my sociology class and the girl's mis-behaving car here: Who thinks they have the worst car? I was the only person raising my hand in sociology class.( My POSCollapse )
