i was raised catholic, but look at my answers, what about you?? [Mar. 12th, 2005|09:08 am]
The Question Club

You scored as agnosticism. You are an agnostic. You neither believe nor disbelieve in God. You don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof).

Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

Which religion is the right one for you? (new version)

This question is for the gals.

Butthuggers or thongs?

Why is it some people think that bikini style butthuggers are akin to granny panties?

What are your reasons why?  Personally I...rest under hereCollapse )

Why is it that some medecines cause different side effects?

I recently came down with Bronchitious and the antibiotics i was on "Zithromax" gave me nasty nasty diarrhea, and nasty nasty cramps for like 3 hours at school. *mucho embrassing*

and my birthcontrol, the first week I start it, I get really nauseated.

What is it in the drug that makes you have those effects? Is it to only certian people, or why would I get it, and be apart of the 3% (guessing)? Couldn't they make something to stop side effects?

Music in Films [Mar. 12th, 2005|12:09 pm]
The Question Club
Is there a website where you can type in the name of a song, and it lists all the movies it has been featured in? I had tapes when I was younger and I remember the song Get Ready by Earth Rare was in the film, but I can't remember what the name was and it's driving me nuts. All I remember is that is was an animated children's movie.

What are you doing today?

how often would you personally assume you were getting something that arrived "bi-weekly"?

personally, i thought that meant every two weeks, then i thought about it and realized it probably meant twice a week and got very confused. i looked it up and it means both - how inconvenient! (i have the option to subscribe to something weekly or biweekly. i want it every two weeks, but absolutely not twice a week!!! ;)

just curious, thanks. ;)

Do you know who Elizabeth Gurly Flynn is?

Name sounds familiar, but I don't know what she did

Also, Ché Guevara is said to have been a Stalin-esque mass murder. So how many people actually died as a result of his role in the Cuban government?

OK... I'm sure some people out there have to be creative. I have a friend that I'm going to visit for her birthday and I want to get her a birthday gift (big surprise there, I know). Anyways, a month later she is moving to Austrailia (from Canada) so I want to get her something that would be practical to take (and that she'd want to take) or something that she can use before she goes. I want it to be something fun/funny and relatively inexpensive (~$20). I'm ok with making something (as long as its not hard to do, I'm not that good). Any suggestions?

Firefox/Yahoo problem [Mar. 12th, 2005|04:26 pm]
The Question Club

[mood |intimidatedpuzzled]

I have used Firefox to check my Yahoo! Mail for months now, but today when I click to sign in, I get this -
picture of message under cutCollapse )

Is anyone else getting this? What should I do? I tried to select open with Firefox, and it started downloading onto the hard drive, so I cancelled. I just want to look at my mail online as usual. Have I somehow changed my settings, or something?

Update It's not doing this anymore. Must have been some weird random glitch.

The Question Club

[music |Dead Can Dance - Indus]

somebody has stolen all of my unlinked interests. they have no entries, no other userinfo, but have apparently made 14 comments, which i assume are in sextips, as they seem to have posting access to that community for some reason. i think it's funny, because they have added things like my fiance's name, and random inside jokes. i friended them, because it's silly.

1. is it you?
2. what would tempt someone to do that?
3. why are people so retarded?
4. does everyone love my fiance?
5. would this situation piss you off? confuse you?

PostNuke hacking [Mar. 12th, 2005|09:52 pm]
The Question Club

Is there a postnuke developers guide that will help me get up to speed on how the modules work faster than reading code? like listings of the functions and parameters, the special variables and constants, and stuff like that? I need to modify one of the modules, and some docs would really help me...

[music |Rammstein - Ohne Dich]

Does anybody here like 'Subway to Sally'? My German penpal mentioned them and I figured since I already like several similar bands I'd try them out. I've listened to three songs so far and love em. :3 Which album of theirs would you say is the best? Since *cough* I'm a little poor and can't afford them all.

>_>; Speaking of penpals.. whatever happened to this? I never got a reply. ;_; But then again something fishy may just be happening to my mail.. I haven't gotten a couple things. >_

I have been tracking a package via UPS all week. It was delayed by a train, then it got to Des Moines, so it was in state, and now...I just checked it, and they don't have that tracking number on record!

Where could it have gone???

It's back again. PHEW.

Dollz [Mar. 12th, 2005|10:53 pm]
The Question Club

Anyone know how to make a doll?

It would be sort of like Raggedy Andy only with a round head, so I can put a mohawk on it. And maybe a bit bigger, to make everything else easier for me. But yeah, Raggedy Andy would be about right. I'm looking at my naked 14 year old Raggedy Ann while writing this. Man I need to make some clothes for her or SOMETHING. Or clean her at least.

AND!: I just got my sewing patterns from Sublime Stitching. Freaking awesome. I got Mexicana, I Luv, Veggies, Pirates Ahoy, Mode Mod and Gothic Grandeur. I plan on making a gift for a friend who's leaving in a few months. Thing is, I have NO idea what to make her. Suggestions?

Also, how hard would it be for me to embroider my own My Chemical Romance hoodie? They cost way too much for me to buy, and I was pondering just taking a simpler design off the interweb [or conning a friend into drawing me a simple thing] then put it on a hoodie from Target. Would it be easier to shell out the moolah? Don't worry, I usually buy the stuff from the band but...I'm also in a sewing mood. If you cannot tell by now...

I always have a lot of questions. Thanks!

Kinda creepy question [Mar. 12th, 2005|11:08 pm]
The Question Club

[mood |distresseddistressed]

I've noticed that sometimes when I walk into my computer room, the screen saver goes off like it anticipates me. I used to shrug it off, thinking that I was somehow turning it off by walking too hard on the floor or something. But thennnnn...it started to go ON when I walked into the room. As in, there was no screen saver running until I walked through the doorway, then it goes on. Weird, huh? What do you think is happening there, and has this happened to anyone else?
