Two questions:

1. What type of dishwashing soap would you recommend? I loved this Palmolive Super Scrub stuff, but they discontinued it. (I'm thinking for washing dishes by hand.)

2. I remember this movie with a boy, played Fred Savage? or someone like him, and his mother was divorced and went through a series of boyfriends. One was a psychologist and had this awful beard. The kid called him "furball" or "fuzzball" or something like that. Our neighbor's boyfriend reminds me of that, so we call him "furball", but I can't remember what movie it's from. Do you?

Thanks!

Two days ago I had a really bad allergy attack that turned into a cold that afternoon. I've been sneezing and I feel like I've got crud draining down my throat. I've been fighting a tickle in the back of my throat for a few days now. I think I've found something that at least lets me function rather than just feel miserable (theraflu severe cold). I haven't seen anything yellow yet, it's all clear.

The one million dollar question: am I going to have to fight this or will it just go away on its own? How long will it take if this just has to run its course?

And while I'm at it, what are your cold survival techniques? I've upped the vitamin C and I've been drinking lots of hot stuff to get the tickle out of my throat... once that takes hold, it's usually all down hill from there. And it seems like the only time I feel better is when I'm lying down... the minute I get up, it all hits me again.

Holiday Music

What's your favorite holiday song? Mine is "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" by Andy Williams, but I really love it all. Sacred and secular, instrumental and vocal, doesn't matter. We have a couple of local radio stations that started playing holiday music 24/7 earlier this month and that's all I've been listening to since then.

So... how exactly would I go about getting my hair cut to donate to Locks of Love? I mean, do I need to do anything for or with the stylist before she cuts it all off?
(Still trying to convince myself it's a good idea to chop off all my hair... I want to, and I know this is a great reason to do it.. but even so, I'm going to miss it!)
