AIM message

Hey, so i got this message on my AIM and I was wondering if anyone had any idea about its legitimacy and whether we actually have to forward it to that many people b/c i'd hate to be a pain in the ass if it's not neccessary. thanks.

Guest list?

So, if you're going to a show by a local/regional band at a good sized club, and they say that they'll put you on the guest list, what exactly does that mean?

Howl's Moving Castle

I finished reading Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones earlier today, having wanted to read it since hearing that it was going to be animated by Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. Anyway, I thought it was a lot of fun, but I think I may have read a bit too quickly somewhere and missed something (or just plain forgotten it) about the plot.

Chicago area people, I need some help...

Myself and 7 of my friends would like to live together next year. We would like to find a house (or apartment building, if need be) in the city (we go to UIC) with about 5-7 bedrooms that is avaliable for rent.

If possible, we would rather not use a realtor.

Where sould we look? How should we look? Is this even feasible in the city of Chicago?

I have had apartments before, but never with so many people.

MISC: Go Ask Alice

Yet another...

I know I've made quite a few posts recently...but I've had a lot of questions.

Funny how that works out.

Do you find yourself happier when you're in a romantic relationship or do you prefer being single?

Me? I used to need a boyfriend when I was in high school. It was vital to my feeling needed and wanted. Now? It's funny...but the idea of being in a serious relationship makes me sick and depresses me for days.

how do you deal with someone who consistently falsely accuses you, but never listens to you when you defend yourself? do you just take it, or continue to attempt to argue?

1) When was the last time you just had a really good day?

2) This may be a stupid question, but is blood really blue until it hits oxygen? I've heard it before, but I never heard that it wasn't true. So, I'm not really sure.

When you were a kid (or maybe even now ;), what was your favorite part of the playground?

For me it's always been the swings. I love swings. I'm 16 and I still love going on those things at any chance I get. When I was younger I liked the monkey bars too, but they gave me a lot of blisters.

What about you? :D

I heart Physics.. er not..

I've been thinking about this question that my physics prof asked last class and I keep coming up with a yes and a no answer....

So here's the question:

Is it possible to build a conoe out of concrete that will float?

sometimes i think i should be majoring in architecture

i dream about buildings a lot. i used to dream about my grandparents house. the house was always different and i was always finding new rooms. sometimes i have dreams about my dad moving into a new house (those are always creepy). now i dream about finding new rooms in the dorm that i live in. last night i had a dream i was exploring/running around in a ridiculously huge victorian house. sometimes i dream that i happen to be living in some dilapidated factory or cathedral or something and i'm exploring the attic/basement (i'm especially attracted to attics/basements).

what does all this mean?

I started walking for an hour a day a couple of days a week. Ever since I started this and eating better (no sugar or caffeine and lots of fruits/veggies), I've had tons of energy and I haven't been able to sleep at all. I can't tire myself out for anything. As soon as I stop walking and eating sugar again, though, I can sleep. Is there some kind of explanation for this? Could it be indicative of a health problem?

II Questions

I) Is there a way for me to save videos from Yahoo or MTV onto my computer? (Part II of question I - do you know if you can get a MP3 version of the White Stripes singing "Jolene"? Can't find it anywhere. And no, I'm not talking about stealing an MP3, paying, yesssss...)

II) Has this question (the video one) been asked already? Cuz I looked but didn't see it, but I REMEMBER it or something like it once upon a time....*shrug*
